Hello!

My name is Sarah and this is my blog.

I’m a 29 year old tom boy from wny who grew up in church, loves dark chocolate, the roaring 20s, tea, and Jane Austen. I dream about whales, am obsessed with my nephews, have a degree in theatre and rarely eat my vegetables.  I’m a die-hard Miami Dolphins fan, lover of musicals, drinker of bourbon and am currently attempting to learn Italian. Pumpkin things? Always.

On this blog you’ll find posts about my life which includes a lot of crafting, my adventures in the world and in the kitchen, some of the things I love, music that makes me groove, and my ever changing view of my town, New York City.

As I stumble through this life I find that it helps to put things out there and this is where I get to do that. Hopefully you can relate or be inspired or just smile. Either way I hope you find this space enjoyable. Feel free to share your thoughts but please keep them positive. There’s enough negativity in this world.

I wake up in the morning and my mind starts making sentences, and I have to get rid of them fast – talk them or write them down. –Ernest Hemingway

She was beautiful, but not like those girls in the magazines. She was beautiful, for the way she thought. She was beautiful, for the sparkle in her eyes when she talked about something she loved. She was beautiful, for her ability to make other people smile, even if she was sad. No, she wasn’t beautiful for something as temporary as her looks. She was beautiful, deep down to her soul. She is beautiful. –F. Scott Fitzgerald
